Mirror films

Mirror films provide excellent heat protection and privacy during the daytime. The film creates a one-way mirror surface, blocking the view from outside into the room. Mirror films in different tones also help reduce light pollution, creating a cozier and dimmer environment. That is why mirror films are a popular choice in living rooms and bedrooms, where a darker environment is often desired. In the evening, however, when lights are on and it is brighter inside than outside, the film works in reverse – it is easy to see in from outside, but the view out is limited. Therefore, using curtains in the evening is recommended to maintain privacy.

Some of the most common mirror films are Silver 80 XC and Chrome 285 XC.

Neutral films

Compared to mirror films, neutral films are more transparent and less reflective. They provide more natural light while maintaining the view from inside to outside in the evening. Although neutral films are transparent and may not guarantee privacy, they still offer an excellent solution for reducing heat. These films are ideal for kitchens or offices where natural light is desired without excessive heat. Additionally, neutral films are suitable for stores looking to protect products from harmful UV radiation. Examples of neutral films include Clarity 333 XC, Spectra 333 XC, and the gently reflective mirror film Silver 44 XC.
